hack@uchicago

An RSO for students interested in hacking and technology at the University of Chicago

Hack Nights and Hackathons

Hack Nights are a time set aside each week for coders and anyone generally interested in technology to gather and hack, work on homework, or just hang out. We meet every Friday evening from 4:30 to around 9:00 PM in Ryerson 255 (the big lounge), and we usually end up ordering pizza and doing demos around 6.

Every quarter we host a Hackathon, a two-day event devoted to collaborative creation and coding. Over 48 hours, hackers across the University pitch ideas, form groups, and build something awesome.
